Named after the successful industrialist, Stanly Easton,
who built a thriving business enterprise and along
the way managed to help fledgling entrepreneurs build
their own commercial dreams into reality, Easton Investment
Company strives to accomplish the same goals. Since
1992, Easton and its president, Tom Black, have assisted
numerous start-ups and small, established businesses
in overcoming a variety of hurdles that have prevented
their businesses from reaching the next stage of development.
Assistance has varied depending on the problem at
hand, and a representative sample bears this out:
- Reed Corporation (Middleborough, MA): procured
financing and provided assistance in environmental
impact
filings
- White Mountain Freezer Company (Winchendon,
MA): developed a cash flow model and procured
financing
-
Putnam Investment Company’s back shop operations
(Andover, MA): provided relocation assistance
and training funds
- Cohasset Colonials (Rockland, MA): procured
financing for this furniture manufacturer
- American Flexible Conduit (New Bedford,
MA) procured job training
At the same time, Easton Investment Company has
invested equity and/or debt money in promising small
or start-up businesses. We have not limited ourselves
to particular industry specialties. Our primary concern
is whether the management of a prospective investment
can do the job at hand. A current list of investments
can be found in the portfolio section; its product
diversity testifies to our investment approach.
However, we are not limited to direct investment
in companies, as we have the added ability to help
the small businessperson achieve his/her goal in
many areas. It is important to note, that we do not
just consult or advise. But rather using our rolodex,
energy, judgment and salesmanship, we pitch in and
help you achieve your goal.
